Ushers / Greeter Ministry Responsibility
“Be watchful, stand firm in the faith, act like men, be strong.”
— 1 Corinthians 16:13 (ESV)
Welcome to the Ushers Ministry
Thank you for serving in the Ushers Ministry. Your willingness to serve the Lord and His people is deeply appreciated. Ushers play an important role in creating a welcoming, orderly, and worship-focused environment for everyone who enters the church.
Please know that you are supported and guided as you serve.
Leadership & Coordination
Deacon Ranny is the Ushers Coordinator.
He will assign where each usher will stand and serve during the service.
If you have questions or need clarification at any time, please feel free to ask.
Primary Responsibilities of Ushers
Ushers are responsible for:
Warmly welcoming members and visitors as they arrive
Distributing church bulletins
Assisting with the offering
Offering Procedure
During the offering, four ushers will be positioned at the front:
Two in the center
One on the left side
One on the right side
Each usher will collect the offering from the aisle(s) assigned to them.
Once collection is complete, Deacon Ranny will receive all offering plates and deliver them to the tellers at the back.
